Great British Watch Company
Bespoke hand-crafted watches made in Great Britain
The Great British Watch Company
In 2011 the Great British Watch Company was founded with the ultimate goal of helping to regain some of the ground Britain has lost as a centre of horology.
I am Colin Andrews, a watchmaker with a keen interest in encouraging people within the industry and helping to promote Britain’s pivotal role in watchmaking history; and hopefully being part of its revival.
The Spitfire Watch a.k.a The Few
A British watch handmade from a WW2 Spitfire that allows enthusiasts to get closer to the aircraft by providing an authentic connection to their passion.
The Dirty Dozen
The Dirty Dozen have been created as a modern homage to the original Watch Wrist Waterproof (W.W.W.) created by 12 companies for the British Army during WW2. an incredibly rewarding series of watches to work on and I have really enjoyed creating a modern homage to an iconic watch that is almost 80 years old.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the meticulous detail and effort you’ve put into sharing the journey (let alone the watch-making!). I appreciate that it will make the experience of finally owning the watch even more special.

It’s a true testament to your skill and your commitment to the ‘British’ theme. When finished the watch will truly be a work of art. Question, are you actually meant to get goosebumps when you see a video of a watch?

Awesome, I really can’t vocalise better what you have done and what you have achieved so far. Really very proud to be one of the “few” to own The Few.

Everything was received all in perfect condition and I am really enjoying the watch, it really is gorgeous. I have a few mates who are watch enthusiasts and they have commented on how nice the watch is.
